Advent Concert I • Quintetto della Trota

Description

We will be transported to Vienna at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries thanks to Quintetto della Trota. The ensemble, composed of leading members of the string section of the Czech Philharmonic, will perform charming works by the now lesser-known Franz Anton Hoffmeister, a contemporary of the Viennese classics, and the famous Franz Schubert. His beloved quintet "The Trout," from which this ensemble took its name, will be featured.
