The idea was quick to come up with. However, the question also was: Would two of the most sought-after musicians in the Swiss scene even have the time and desire to embark on this adventure? Adrian Stern picked up the phone. Massimo Buonanno, beat machine, virtuoso, and one of the busiest drummers in the country, was immediately on board. So was Marco Blöchlinger, whose groovy and at the same time incredibly song-serving bass playing has shaped the sound of KUNZ for many years. Soon after, the three were in the rehearsal room together. Without a big concept, but with a lot of curiosity about what could emerge. It quickly became clear: here, more than just musical craftsmanship was working. Ideas flew back and forth, songs almost developed themselves, and from individual rehearsals, regular sessions soon became routine. Adrian wrote new pieces, the trio arranged, experimented, and further developed. Soon after, the first studio days followed. What started as a spontaneous musical encounter developed step by step into material for a whole album. In spring 2027, the new album by Adrian Stern, TRIO, will be released. The foundation was recorded live together and then further developed with additional ideas, sounds, and overdubs. It is not a nostalgic retrospective nor a pure trio experiment, but an independent production that grew out of the energy and joy of playing of this lineup. With "isbluemestilli" the first single has already been released. Following the pre-sale start of the tour, "Rätsel" will be the next release. More songs will find their way out until the album release. The first concerts in summer already showed how much power is in this formation. On the TRIO TOUR 2027, Adrian Stern, Massimo Buonanno, and Marco Blöchlinger will bring this energy to club stages.
