Description
Antoine Busnoys, one of the most prolific French song composers of the 15th century, is still rarely performed today. This concert not only highlights the tonal sophistication of his work but also focuses particularly on five pieces in which Busnoys – whether in subtle allusions or in artistically encrypted acrostics – pays homage to a mysterious lady: Jacqueline d’Haqueville. «Ach, wie grausam – A que vile» – Songs by Antoine Busnoys (c1430–1492) Ensemble Basel·ReRenaissance Korneel Van Neste – vocals | Dina Picon – vocals | Ivana Ivanović – vocals | Elizabeth Rumsey – vielle | Marc Lewon – lute, viola d’arco; Conducted on Sat, June 27, 2026, 6:15 PM Nydeggkirche, Bern Free entry – donation acceptedHighlights
