Description

Adventure Farm – a holiday day full of animals and farm action: feeding chickens, caring for sheep, mucking out pigs, petting cows, playing in the hay, and experiencing a hay fight. At the Adventure Farm at the Erlebnis farm in Uetliburg in the canton of St. Gallen, children spend an eventful holiday day in the middle of nature.
Children are actively involved in farm life, getting to know our animals and discovering what happens on a farm. They learn how to approach animals calmly and respectfully, take on small tasks, and gain exciting experiences through direct contact with our sheep, pigs, cows, chickens, and other farm animals. Besides working with the animals, there is plenty of time for playing, running, marveling, and laughing. They romp in the hay, play farm games together, and of course, a real hay fight is a must.
At lunchtime, children bake their own snake bread over an open fire and eat together outside. The homemade bread tastes especially good after farm chores.
Additionally, children craft a creative keepsake for home and make a toy for our animals. This results in something that not only looks nice but also comes into use later on the farm. The day is accompanied by Sara and Valérie. Sara is a farmer, teacher, experiential educator, and owner of the Erlebnis farm. Valérie is a psychomotor therapist and nature educator. Together, they ensure a varied mix of helping, playing, and discovering, and they pay attention to a safe and respectful interaction with the animals. Information at a glance

Includes: lunch and craft materials
Bring: weatherproof clothing and closed shoes that can get dirty. Places for the Adventure Farm are limited. Register your child directly via the registration form on our website. We look forward to an exciting holiday day with many animals, exciting tasks, and lots of farm adventures!
