A Certain Darkness Is Needed to See the Stars

Description

This event offers an immersive space for up to twenty participants to engage with themes of impermanence and transformation through a unique combination of drumming rituals, minimalism, and techno-rave. Attendees arrive to set personal intentions, then experience a 40-minute live drum solo, followed by calming sounds and a communal sharing over tea and fruit. Participants can choose their mode of participation—lying, sitting, or moving—and experience the event in silence or through sharing.

Held at Friedhof Forum in Zurich, Switzerland. Tickets are on a sliding scale CHF 20–60, with free solidarity tickets available. The event runs from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with optional social time until 5:30 PM. The event is in English, with future dates in German. Attendees can participate in various ways, including sitting, lying, or moving, in a hybrid setting.
