This event marks six decades of archaeological research, documentation, and preservation by the Canton of St. Gallen. Attendees will enjoy a brief tour of selected artifacts in the permanent exhibition, followed by a conversation with Dr. Martin Schindler, the Canton Archaeologist, and curator Leandra Reitmaier-Naef. The discussion will reflect on the evolution of the field from its modest beginnings in 1966 to its modern practices, highlighting significant projects and future challenges.
