Aris Quartet 6th Chamber Music Concert Expressive, dynamic, impressive: For more than a decade and a half, the Aris Quartet has been at home on international stages. With its unmistakable sound language, it has long been part of the top echelon of chamber music. Venues for the ensemble include halls such as London's Wigmore Hall, Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie, San Francisco's Herbst Theatre, or the Philharmonie de Paris. The selection of their chamber music partners is of high caliber: Christiane Karg, Tabea Zimmermann, Daniel Müller-Schott, Eckart Runge, Kit Armstrong, and Nils Mönkemeyer. Founded in Frankfurt am Main in 2009, the Aris Quartet still performs with the same lineup today. With numerous first prizes at renowned competitions, the Aris Quartet quickly achieved international breakthrough. The musicians have also been awarded as 'ECHO Rising Stars' by the European Concert Hall Organisation, were part of the BBC's 'New Generation Artists,' and won five prizes at the International Music Competition of the ARD in Munich. In addition to regular appearances on radio and TV, the Aris Quartet has already released six album productions highly regarded by the press. After its debut at Kammermusik Bern in 2020, the Aris Quartet is now performing for the second time in our series.
