Solothurn Mineral, Fossil and Jewelry Days (Mineral Fair) Admire the wonderful world of minerals, gemstones and fossils and don't forget the special exhibition. Jewelry and collector's accessories are also offered. Theme of this year's special exhibition: “Calcite, Shapes and Colors”. Admire the variety of shapes of calcites. In addition to various “Animals of the Year”, since 2018 there has also been the “Mineral of the Year”, for which the shape-rich mineral calcite was chosen in 2021. Calcite can occur in over 100 crystal forms and 1,000 crystal form combinations, offering the highest variety of forms among minerals. Our interested youth can get information about their possible future leisure activities at the stand of the mineral friends “JO - Saurostrahlus”.
For young and young at heart, a competition called the “Fair Rally” will be held. Raffles will be held on both days and there are great prizes, most of which are donated by our exhibitors and members. Many thanks to all donors.

The 56th Solothurn Mineral, Fossil and Jewelry Days offer a fascinating exhibition of minerals, gemstones and fossils.
