She was the original mother of all Netflix series: Princess Scheherazade ended her stories every evening with a cliffhanger to keep the bloodthirsty King Shahryar in good spirits. Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov dedicated a lush oriental tone poem to the mythical storyteller of the tales from 1001 Nights, following the narrative flow of her stories. Equally exciting is Ludwig van Beethoven's charming-perl Triptych Concerto: as a concert piece for three solo instruments and orchestra, it holds a special place in the classical repertoire. But even in Beethoven's work, it is considered an exceptional piece — an "Intermezzo in the French style" (Leon Plantinga). Fortunately, in Bern, three French music stars are taking on this work: violinist Renaud Capuçon, cellist Edgar Moreau, and pianist Hélène Mercier! Conductor: Krzysztof Urbański.
