4 SEASONS WITH ANTON VIOLINIST & FRIENDS

Description

Programme Anton Jablokov performs for the first time in Locarno with this project. The core of the program is The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi in an innovative arrangement for string quartet with two violins, cello, and piano, accompanied by narration that illuminates the work and its significance. The performance highlights the connection between music, images of nature, and the explanatory sonnets published by Vivaldi. It results in a musical journey through spring, summer, autumn, and winter, also interpreted as stages of human life. The second part of the concert The second part is dedicated to some of Europe's most beloved melodies, including Hava Nagila, Bella Ciao, and the Hungarian Dances.
