Les Voix marks its 30-year journey in choral music with a concert that showcases the ensemble's rich history and diverse repertoire. Founded in 1996, the choir has evolved from a school initiative to a renowned vocal group, captivating audiences with pure voices and passionate performances. The anniversary program includes personal favorites from each singer, spanning romantic pieces, Swiss folk songs, and international classics. A highlight of the evening is the world premiere of Ola Gjeilo's new composition, 'She Walks in Beauty,' performed in Basel with the composer present. The event features performances by Les Voix, accompanied by Ola Gjeilo on piano, with Anastasija Raspopova also on piano, under the direction of David Rossel. The concert lasts approximately two hours, including a break and reception.
