16th Selo Symposium: New Perspectives on Mental Illness and Burnout

Description

The Selo Symposium connects the viewpoints of professionals from psychiatry, psychology, and the workplace with those of affected individuals and interested parties. It traditionally works in an interdisciplinary and trialogical manner.
This year's conference is themed "New Perspectives on Mental Illness and Burnout." Lectures and parallel workshops address current questions: whether women's medicine is needed, how personal therapy can be digitally supported, and the role of burnout syndrome in the medical-therapeutic work environment. Workshops deepen topics such as stress management in the family, innovative neurostimulation, and peer work in the trialogue group. A separate parallel program on depression treatment, applied psychotherapy, and gender medicine is offered for doctors and medical professionals.
The conference is aimed at general practitioners, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and therapists, professionals from the workplace (HR, social services, counseling centers, reintegration), as well as affected individuals, relatives, and interested parties. It is recognized as advanced training with 4 credits from the SGPP.
