1000 Years Monastery Muri - Opening Ceremony

This very first weekend already offers many highlights. The monastery pavilion and the exhibition will be opened – with pomp and fireworks. The pavilion forms the central meeting place throughout the entire commemorative year. It contains parts of the exhibition and the radio studio, which also premieres this weekend with a first discussion round and lots of music. On Sunday, there will be a ceremony and a church service. To kick off on Friday, the four volumes "History of Monastery Muri" will be presented. Since 2011, historians have been working to research and describe the millennium of the monastery.
