1000 Years Monastery Muri - Benedictine Abbots Meeting

The heads of the seven Swiss Benedictine monasteries hold their annual meeting as part of the 1000-year anniversary in Muri. This also includes the Abbey of Muri-Gries from Bolzano in South Tyrol, where the monks of Muri live today. The abbots and their companions, as well as two representatives of the Benedictine nuns, will reside in Muri from Wednesday to Friday after Pentecost in 2027. During this stay, the people of Muri have the opportunity to come into contact with the Benedictine order, the people behind it, and Benedictine spirituality. Further details will follow.
