1st La Scintilla Concert

Johann Sebastian Bach is at the center of a far-reaching musical family, from which numerous city musicians and composers descended. Bach's sons, known for their innovative musical styles, attracted even more attention during their lifetime than their father. Talented composers are also found among Bach's ancestors and distant relatives. The first La Scintilla concert of this season is dedicated entirely to this outstanding German family and spans from Heinrich Bach, born in 1615, to Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, who died in 1784. The concert is conducted by violinist and conductor Shunske Sato, who has worked closely with Concerto Köln, among others.
