What should I do if I don’t receive a confirmation email?

When signing up for an account or registering for an event, you should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. If you haven’t received it, don’t worry! Here are a few steps to help you resolve the issue.

1. Check Your Spam or Junk Folder

Sometimes, emails can be mistakenly marked as spam. Follow these steps to check:

  • Open your email inbox (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.).
  • Look for a folder labeled Spam, Junk, or Promotions.
  • If you find the email there, mark it as Not Spam to prevent future issues.

2. Verify Your Email Address

Ensure that you entered the correct email address during sign-up. If there was a typo, you might not receive the email.

  • Try signing up again using the correct email address.
  • If you are unsure, log in to your account and check your email settings.

3. Wait a Few Minutes

Email delivery may take a little time due to server delays. Wait at least 5–10 minutes before retrying.

4. Request a New Confirmation Email

Most platforms allow you to resend the confirmation email.

  • Look for a “Resend Confirmation Email” button on the login or registration page.
  • Click on it and check your inbox again.

5. Whitelist Our Email Address

If you suspect your email provider is blocking our emails, you can whitelist our email address:

  • Add event_mapper@support.com to your Contacts or Safe Senders List.
  • This ensures you receive all future emails without issues.

6. Try a Different Email Provider

If you’re using a work or school email, it might have strict filters. Try using a personal email address like Gmail or Yahoo.

7. Contact Customer Support
