Henri Hirt's view of the world touches and inspires, provokes thought, and at the same time makes a wonderful lightness of being perceptible. His first poetry collection, Herz, is a language we understand and has gained attention nationwide in Germany, including being featured in the ARD magazine Titel Thesen Temperamente. At the 12th Literaturherbst, Henri Hirt is now celebrating the book premiere of his second book. The young writer reads from his poems, thoughts, and stories, which, with heart and often humor, explore all facets of life and the genuinely human. "Writing," says Henri Hirt, "is a good feeling," and this is tangible during the reading and conversation for everyone. Henri Hirt was born in 2003 in Cologne with Down syndrome. Since 2005, he has lived in Walldorf near Heidelberg. He is a freelance writer. Moderation: Kirsten Ehrhardt
