Description

The perch, a famous fish from Lake Neuchâtel, has been the emblem of the Estavayer-le-Lac Carnival for over 30 years. A few days before the festivities begin, the perch is hung after a torch relay. It will go up in smoke at the end of the demonstration, but for now, it is hung, celebrated, and preparations are made for the Fasnacht.
