On the occasion of a privileged event, Niklaus Manuel Güdel, the exhibition curator, invites you to discover the Ferdinand Hodler exhibition. Profession of faith, a selection of about fifty paintings, drawings, and documents from prestigious art collections in Switzerland and Germany.
From his early Protestant-inspired religious scenes to his large Symbolist compositions, Hodler's work reveals itself as a true modern spiritual quest. Nature, body, rhythm, and harmony of forms become expressions of an inner search, where the artist explores the unity between human beings, the natural world, and a universal harmony.
